Janta Express Welfare Foundation (JEWF)

Janta Express Welfare Foundation (JEWF) is a non-profit organisation working for the welfare of women and children. The journey began with social journalism to raise issues related to women and society. Realising that raising voices alone was not enough, the organisation started working directly on the ground. JEWF has been actively working since 16 October 2021 and was formally registered on 14 May 2024 to strengthen its work with transparency, accountability, and proper structure.

Who We Are

JEWF works at the grassroots level to prevent child marriage, support women affected by domestic violence and dowry harassment, promote girls’ education, provide skill training and livelihood support to women, offer legal and social guidance to survivors, and conduct community awareness programmes on social justice and climate responsibility.
